• De-installing and packing framed artwork for return.

Exhibitions Intern @ Independent Curators International (ICI), New York, NY.                                                                    October 2023- April 2024.

• Managed an extensive database of artworks, organized recorded files, contributed to installation guides, and completed condition reports for traveling exhibitions.

• Gathered information on artists and organizations for future outreach, and processed payment forms for currently exhibiting artists.

•  Selecting photos from gallery installations and opening receptions, creating image captions for the website.

 

Exhibitions Apprentice @ Arts Connection, New York, NY.                                                                                                                  April- June 2023.

• Composed and distributed mass emails to students and teachers regarding submitted artworks and exhibition openings.

• Provided support for event preparation and facilitation.

• Worked alongside the installation team, including de-installation, packing, receiving, unpacking, and installing artwork, while documenting the progress.

Latino Museums Studies Program  Design Development Intern @ Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Latino,

Washington, DC.                                                                                                                                                                  September- November 2022.

• Attended a long series of seminars and workshops on museum practice, and professional development.

• Conducted in-person and online research on bilingual text and signage in museum spaces across various Smithsonian museums and online research on other museums, documenting different approaches.

• Analyzed findings and developed best practices for bilingual exhibits, culminating in a digital presentation.
